You don't know what you are missing. At least for 1-2 days of the winter.

I lived in Pennsylvania just before starting Kindergarten so I've experienced at least one legitimate winter.
Of course that was 21 years ago so I may have forgotten a bit of what it was like.

The driving can be fun. It's just the clueless other drivers that screw it up.

Couldn't care less about the Carribean. I'm built for winter. 160 pounds of Northern Ontarian. Anything from cold snaps to blizzards. I can deal. Just throw on the thermals and an extra layer and I'll go 20 kilometers on snowshoes before I start flagging.
You know what I can't do? Heat. I hate it. I start breaking down at 28-30 degrees and don't even get me started on humidity. When you're sitting down and sweating, that's the fucking worst. You can keep your Caribbean, I don't want it. I'll keep the snow, where I can powerslide a Hyundai Elantra every day.

I'm in San Diego. Sometimes I go skiing or whatever, and it's like 'Yeah, this is nice'. Or sometimes I see a video of snow hooning and think, 'Man, I wish I could do that every day'. Then other times (like today), I'm doing something like tailgating or cruising around the bay in my boat, and it's the middle of November and 77 degrees without a cloud in the sky and it's like, 'Yeah, no, this is better.'

Trust me, I much prefer the cold. That being said, dealing with snow for more than a few days sounds like a real hassle.
